I don't display ads, I'm not owned by a money-hungry media conglomerate, and I tailor my content toward YOU, not Google. Content creation is my full-time job and adulting is expensive, so your contributions help me make ends meet, as well as enable me to continue to update and improve this site.

Ko-fi

I use Ko-fi as a donation platform. It's similar to Patreon but they take a smaller cut from creators, ensuring more of your money goes to the creator you want to support instead of the platform itself. You can use PayPal or Stripe to donate on Ko-fi. There are a couple of different ways to support me on the site.

Donation

You can buy me a coffee, i.e. make a small $3 payment roughly equal to the price of a coffee. Obviously, we're not talking about Starbucks here, but the good news is if you want to buy me a Starbucks specifically, you can donate two intervals of $3, or even thirty! That's more energy than Qadim got from falling into the Mystic Cauldron. That's enough energy to open another portal to Azeroth for the Burning Legion. It's soo much energy.

For these donations, the only fees taken are by the payment processors.

Membership

If you'd like to get some kickback (who wouldn't?) or donate on a monthly basis, you can also subscribe to a membership tier, which allows me to offer you more exclusive content. You sign up, pay a subscription fee, and when I deliver new perks, you'll be notified via email. You'll be charged immediately on signup and then every calendar month until you cancel. Logistics aside, let's get to what you're wondering — what goodies do you get in return for your generosity?

I have five different reward tiers, ranging from a $3 to $25 monthly fee. Higher tiers have new perks and get all the perks from previous tiers. To gain access to any Google Drive perks, you need to sign up for a Google or Gmail account if you don't already have one.

Ashling ($3)

• Your name in the acknowledgments section below.
• Access to a special members-only lounge and the Firebird role in Discord.

Nestling ($5)

• Early access to my articles as soon as they’re ready — often well before they're released to the public.
• Vote in polls to decide on things like upcoming games for review, the next entry in my screenshot art series, and other miscellaneous articles or site features you’d like to see.

Fledgling ($10)

• Access to blog posts you won’t find anywhere else — these may be real-life updates, behind-the-scenes exclusives, or just for fun.
• Ask me questions that I'll answer in a monthly Ask Me Anything (AMA) post.

Glowing ($15)

• Access to the full-resolution 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) and 3840 × 2160 (4K Ultra HD) screenshots from my screenshot art series hosted on Google Drive.
• Access to helpful and customizable video game resources and spreadsheets I've created. This currently includes:
  • Raid commanding spreadsheets for Guild Wars 2 to keep track of your static and alternate members and weekly squad compositions.
  • Monster cheat sheets for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin so you can see their type, weaknesses, and egg pattern at a glance.
  • Reference sheets for Disney Dreamlight Valley that include a table to keep track of your characters’ roles, a cookbook to find recipes easily, and a critter timetable and food preferences page to help you collect ‘em all.

Flaming ($25)

• Monthly one-on-one voice chat with me on Discord for 30 minutes. You can ask me for help or advice, we can talk about anything from video games to content creation to frozen hot chocolate, or we can even play a game if you'd like!

Discord

Join My Discord

I have a community Discord server where you can interact with like-minded people, participate in events and giveaways, and get updates on the site and my content. Boosting a Discord server gives it cool perks such as an increased file upload size limit, custom role icons, and higher-quality audio and video. You can pay for server boosts individually, but if you have Nitro, you get two free server boosts to give to the server of your choice.

If you boost my Discord server, you’ll get the Pyrotechnist role, as well as the same perks as members at the Ashling tier on Ko-fi: your name in my acknowledgments section below and access to the Firebird Lounge.
